NEW DELHI: The Swachh Sujal Gaon exhibition of Jal Jeevan Mission Uttar Pradesh was awarded the Best Display Award at the International Trade Show . The pavilion, set up in Hall No 7, focused on the theme of water and environmental conservation.
Spread across 496 square meters, the exhibition showcased the changes in Bundelkhand’s villages after 2019, following the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission . A photo gallery and prototypes were displayed to highlight the progress of providing tap water connections to rural households.
Officials said the display aimed to raise awareness about water conservation among both domestic and international visitors. Since the fair began on September 25, thousands of school children and entrepreneurs have taken a pledge on water conservation at the pavilion.
The exhibition also drew attention for its interactive elements, including a selfie point and a gaming zone which were used to engage younger visitors on the issue of water conservation.
Out of 2400 stalls at the trade show, 70 exhibitions were recognized across different categories. Senior Media Advisor Radhakrishna Tripathi accepted the award on behalf of Jal Jeevan Mission.
