RAJKOT: A 35-year-old man was allegedly murdered by two youths in Gujarat's Bhavnagar on Sunday night after he objected to their habit of recklessly zipping through a crowded residential area on their motorcycle, and requested them to stop driving dangerously.
The victim, Rohit alias Gopal Bariya, was stabbed repeatedly with a knife by Yuvraj Parmar and Gautam Parmar. The duo also attacked his cousins, Bharat Vaja and Manisha, when they attempted to intervene.
Rohit died of excessive blood loss on the spot, while Bharat & Manisha were taken to a hospital. Preliminary investigation revealed Yuvraj and Gautam often rode their bike at a high speed while continuously honking, in Karachaliyapara locality.
Based on a complaint lodged by Bharat, a case of murder and assault was registered by police, and a hunt is on to apprehend the accused. tnn
