It's September 1 and the summer transfer window for Premier League closes at 7pm UK time as clubs scramble to get their final deals over the line to take them through to January. Champions Liverpool are expected to be one of the busiest teams today as they seek to spend over £150million to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle and Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.
Newcastle and Palace will both be scrapping for replacements for the duo while Manchester United are shopping for a new goalkeeper. Aston Villa's Emi Martinez and Royal Antwerp's Senne Lammens are their two top targets as they look to bring one in before the deadline. The Red Devils are also still trying to offload some unwanted players including Jadon Sancho who could head to Villa. After another busy summer, Chelsea could splash out on a striker and attacker Fermin Lopez before this evening.
