Saturday Kitchen presenter Matt Tebbutt found himself less than pleased as he was compelled to deliver an apology following a remark made by his co-presenter.
The BBC programme returned to television screens on Saturday morning (August 2) with Matt once again taking charge.
Accompanying Matt - who is speculated to be the fresh face of MasterChef - on the show were culinary experts Paul Ainsworth, Ravinder Bhogal and Justin Tsang.
Strictly celebrity Bill Bailey also put in an appearance, whilst beverages specialist Helen McGinn was present to explore some alcoholic options and match the drinks with the studio creations.
Nevertheless, mere minutes after Saturday Kitchen began broadcasting, matters took an uncomfortable direction when Matt approached Helen to enquire about her upcoming segment, reports the Mirror.
"We've gone rose. I cannot wait," Helen declared. Speaking about the wine, she remarked: "It's from volcanic soil, so it's got like super energy. It's like an energy drink!".
Perplexed, Matt shot back: "Like an energy drink? !". Helen responded: "Yeah in my world."
Clearly unimpressed, Matt then stated: "If there are any children watching at home, it is not like an energy drink! Sorry." He subsequently attempted to quickly progress and conversed with Bill regarding his culinary paradise and nightmare selections.
This follows Matt welcoming back a cherished member of the Saturday Kitchen crew the previous week. During the episode broadcast on July 26, Matt observed: "He's back! Olly Smith, where have you been all my life? !".
Olly responded: "Oh well, all your life! Well, over the last few weeks, I've had a triple threat of writing, going to weddings, and festivals."
The Saturday Kitchen host queried if the weddings were enjoyable to attend.
