EE is dishing out new Xbox consoles and the price might surprise you

Fancy a new Xbox but don't want to splash out £299 all in one go. A trip to EE's online store might be a good idea. Although this firm is famed for its mobile network, it also sells other tech devices, including gaming consoles. The best part is, you can pay on contract just like you would a smartphone with prices starting from just £15. If that wasn't tempting enough, EE is also throwing in a £25 EE GAMECARD which can be used in exchange for any game on any console.

However, there is a significant disclaimer regarding this offer, as it ultimately proves more expensive than purchasing the Xbox from retailers like Argos.

The £15 price is based on signing up for a 24-month contract, plus there is a £20 upfront fee to pay. The total over two years is £380 - although you do get that £25 gift card back, of course.

Right now, stores such as Argos and Currys are selling the Series S for £299.99, which means there is a premium for choosing EE. The bonus of this offer is that you spread the cost rather than paying all of it upfront.
