Chelsea are attempting to sign Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho this summer, with the winger currently training away from the first-team squad at Old Trafford. But the Blues are said to be reluctant to meet the Red Devils' £50million asking price.
Chelsea have attempted to encourage United to cash in on the Argentine by offering a string of players to their Premier League rivals in a swap deal. United have already reportedly rejected the chance to sign Axel Disasi, Renato Veiga, Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson and Tyrique George as they may be holding out for the full transfer fee before they sanction Garnacho's exit. But Chelsea still have three wildcard options they can put forward in their efforts to get a deal over the line.
Filip JorgensenManchester United's need for a new goalkeeper has already been evident this season, with Andre Onana falling out of favour under Ruben Amorim.
Onana has remained on the bench during his side's opening two Premier League matches of the campaign, with Altay Bayindir preferred in between the sticks. But the Turkey international was at fault for Arsenal's goal as the Red Devils were defeated 1-0 by the Gunners on the opening weekend of the season. And Amorim will be keen to bring in a more reliable shot-stopper.
Jorgensen has kept 10 clean sheets in 24 matches during his time with Chelsea and was their main keeper in the UEFA Conference League last season. So he may be able to do a job at Old Trafford.

Benoit Badiashile joined Chelsea from Monaco at the start of 2023 when Graham Potter was in charge and was a regular starter during his first couple of months at Stamford Bridge.
He started 15 Premier League games under Mauricio Pochettino during the 2023/24 season after being ruled out of 13 matches through injury. But he has fallen down the pecking order during Enzo Maresca's spell in charge.
Amorim, who may already be feeling the pressure this season after picking up just one point from two league outings, sets his side up with a back three. So another defender of Badiashile's quality could come in handy for the 13-time Premier League champions.
Ben ChilwellUnited currently have left-footed defenders in the shape of Luke Shaw, Patrick Dorgu and Ayden Heaven. But they may welcome further reinforcements on the left flank given Shaw's injury issues in the past.
While Chilwell has previously struggled with his own injury problems, he is a Premier League champion and a Champions League winner.
So his experience and winning mentality could be a real asset at Old Trafford should the Blues offer him as part of the deal for Garnacho.
