Lucknow:
A detailed report of about 450 pages prepared on the violence that took place in Sambhal on 24 November has been submitted to the Chief Minister. This report has been prepared by a three-member committee. There are many shocking things in it. The report states that the Sambhal municipal area had a population of 45 percent in 1947, which has now come down to 15 percent in 2025. That is, the Hindu population has decreased by 30 percent in the last 78 years. The report also states that Sambhal has become a hub of terrorists. There have been 15 riots here since independence.
How was the survey leaked? The report on the riots that took place on November 24 states that the conspirators knew that a survey was to be conducted there. The administration had informed the management of Sambhal Jama Masjid that a survey was to be conducted there. Probably the news of the survey leaked from there and a crowd gathered there. It has become a hub of illegal weapons and drugs. According to the report, it also includes complete details of the dates of previous riots, the loss of life in them, administrative action and the situation after that.
Violence was pre-planned: ReportAccording to sources, the Sambhal Committee report has revealed that the violence of 24 November 2024 was pre-planned and the result of a conspiracy. To incite the Namazis, MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq had said that we are the owners of this country. MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq, MLA's son Suhail Iqbal and the officials of the Intezamia Committee were in the main role. It is alleged that the Intezamia Committee of Sambhal Jama Masjid hatched a conspiracy together. Addressing the Namazis on November 22, MP Zia-ur-Rehman Barq gave an inflammatory speech. He had said, 'We are not going to be suppressed by the police administration and the government, we are the owners of this country, not servants, not slaves'. I am openly saying that, the mosque was there, the mosque is there, Insha-Allah the mosque will remain till the doomsday. The way our mosque was taken away in Ayodhya, we will not let it happen here.'
This report will first be presented before the state cabinet. After getting approval from the cabinet, it will be tabled in the House during the upcoming assembly session.
