Tennis legend Bjorn Borg details secret cancer diagnosis in new tell-all autobiography

Tennis star Bjorn Borg writes about being diagnosed with cancer in his upcoming autobiography, according to reports in Sweden and Italy.

"Heartbeat", which will be released on September 18, details the Swede's secret battle with the disease, which he has kept hidden from the public.

The book, written together with his wife Patricia, will be released in the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Latin America, the Netherlands and Italy, in addition to Sweden.

The release of the book has been shrouded in secrecy, and Swedish publication Expressen report it will not be sent out to the media to review before it is released.

Borg dominated tennis in the 1970s, winning five Wimbledon titles and six French Open crowns to establish himself as one of the most popular players in the sport's history.
