Demi Jones has slammed some of her Love Island co-stars as 'stuck up a*****'. The reality star, 27, found fame when she finished in third place on the ITV2 dating show in 2020 and had been to an influencer event the night before she sat down to record the SpilL With Will podcast, where she issued the scathing remarks.
She told Will: "Obviously you'll know Will, when you go to events and meet certain Islanders, they're so stuck up their own a***," to which the host replied: "But I just also think with some of them as well like, do you know you have 30 minutes? With this attitude you have 30 minutes."
Demi continued: "But babes I'm not going to see you in six months' time, so let's just be nice now," before Will suggested that some of those who have had the shortest-lived roles on the hit reality show have the 'biggest egos', to which Demi was in full agreement. She said: "I agree, I agree but you have to be nice to everyone as you genuinely don't know who you're talking to." It comes after one huge TV star looks completely unrecognisable as she reveals latest facelift.

But for Demi, the comments came just moments before she revealed she had been approached by bosses to make another appearance on Love Island's spin-off programme All Stars. When Demi first competed on the programme, she found love with Luke Mabbott but things did not work out.
They split amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and Demi went looking for love again during the 2023 spin-off series. She was initially coupled up with Chris Taylor, but was dumped from the Island completely on the eighth day of the competition. But when she was asked to make a comeback for the next run of the programme, the TV star refused because she felt as if she had put too much weight since she was last on camera.
She said: "I was like, "Honey I'm not a size eight anymore. I'm sorry I'm not ready to get back in that bikini." But despite not being entirely happy with her size, Demi is adamant that she could never bring herself to turn to a weight loss injection like Ozempic.
She said: "I'm sorry this Ozempic, I can't. Everyone is popping out like a size four. Well, I feel like most of my friends are on Ozempic. I feel like my body image, like dysmorphia has got worse since people are doing Ozempic and Mounjaro."
The TV star, who also appeared on Strictly The Real Full Monty in 2021 but has mostly focused on her career as an influencer on social media as opposed to appearing on television, then admitted that she struggles with going to various events now. She added: "I feel self-conscious now. I go to these parties and it has made me feel self-conscious."
Asked if that is why she turned down All Stars, she confirmed: "Yeah I didn't do Love Island mainly because I wasn't, one mentality of going through it again, and I just could not get myself back in the bikini."

The year after she found fame, Demi's life was turned upside down when doctors found a lump in her neck and she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. After two major surgeries and radioiodine therapy, Demi was fortunately given the all-clear that same year in December. Still, she reflected on the shock of discovering she had cancer after initially dismissing the malignant lump for some time.
Speaking out about the tumultuous time in an Instagram post earlier this year, she said: "Symptoms of thyroid cancer include hoarseness of the voice, a sore throat, difficulty swallowing and a lump. But, for me personally, I just had a lump on the side of my neck. I first discovered my lump back in 2019 when I was at uni, but I was too busy having fun.
"I didn’t take it seriously enough. It wasn’t until I had messages from strangers and my followers telling me that they could see this lump on my neck, it was that [which] then pushed me to get a doctor’s appointment.
Demi explained that doctors initially performed an ultrasound and a blood test before draining some of the lump's fluid. Two weeks later, she was then called back and urged to go for surgery 'almost immediately'.
"At this point, I felt really uncertain. I went straight into surgery where they removed half of my thyroid and the lump to test if it was cancerous," she continued. "A couple of weeks later, the doctor called me in. As soon as they said the word 'cancer', I just went into shock. So, I then had to go back in for a second surgery where they removed the rest of my thyroid."
Although it's now been four years since Demi's cancer battle, the star said she continues to wear her scar 'very proudly' and is still keen to raise awareness of the disease. In a final plea to fans, she urged: "If you think you have any symptoms of thyroid cancer, please speak to your GP."
