Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has made a serious allegation against online brands for using her photos without permission. The 'Dahaad' fame actress recently raised this issue on her Instagram story and expressed her displeasure. She has expressed her displeasure over the e-commerce brands using her personal social media photos without permission. She said that she herself does online shopping, and in such a situation, when she saw her social media photos being used on many websites without permission and without her consent, she was shocked.

Sonakshi wrote a long post expressing her displeasure on her Insta story, in which she said that if it is not removed immediately, then she is forced to take action.
'My photos are being used without permission'
Expressing anger, she wrote on Insta Story- 'I often do online shopping. I saw that my photos are being used on many brand websites. Without a simple request for usage rights or permission…how is this acceptable?'
Sonakshi threatens
She further wrote- 'When an artist posts a picture wearing your outfit or jewellery, you are given full credit. But putting those same pictures on your official website? This is too much. Keep it ethical, remove my pictures immediately, otherwise I will speak by taking the names of the brands.' This statement of Sonakshi not only highlights the violation of her privacy but also raises a strong voice against copyright and unethical use in the digital age.
Sonakshi was last seen in her brother Kush's film.

Made in a budget of Rs 20 crore, this film got a cold response at the box office. The film earned only Rs 1.51 crore. Earlier, she garnered a lot of praise for her stellar performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix series 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar' (2024). Now she is preparing for the sequel of her acclaimed web series 'Roar'.
