A man was detained on Thursday morning after he entered the Parliament complex by scaling a wall with the help of a tree, sources have told ANI.
The incident is said to have taken place at 6.30 AM on the side of Rail Bhawan, from where the man jumped over the wall and moved towards the Garuda Gate of the new Parliament building. Security personnel deployed in the area intercepted him before he could proceed further.
Delhi Police officials have taken the individual into custody and are questioning to ascertain his identity and motive.
