Travellers from Mumbai will soon have daily direct flights to Madinah, Saudi Arabia, starting 15 November 2025. The new service comes amid growing demand for religious tourism, trade, and workforce travel between India and Saudi Arabia.
IndiGo will operate the route using its Airbus A320 aircraft, offering convenient and affordable access for religious, business, and leisure travellers. Bookings are open via IndiGo’s website, mobile app, and authorised travel partners.
This Mumbai-Madinah connection will be the airline’s second service to the city, supplementing its existing 4x weekly Hyderabad-Madinah flights, which will also increase to daily service from 16 November 2025. With this launch, IndiGo becomes the only Indian carrier providing direct flights between Mumbai and Madinah.
“Madinah is a destination of deep cultural and spiritual significance that attracts pilgrims from across the globe, including India. We are pleased to launch this new Mumbai-Madinah route to cater to the growing demand for religious tourism. These flights complement our existing Hyderabad-Madinah service and strengthen our domestic and international network,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales at IndiGo.
